SDPD investigating armed robberies in Midway District, Pacific Beach

According to police, armed men detained employees at two offices in the Midway district and Pacific Beach on Wednesday night, but police soon found that it was the same shooter who committed both robbers. Was not sure.

According to San Diego police officer John Battle, the first robbery occurred at about 9:15 pm in a midway drive business near Kemper Street. Two men with pistols walked through the store, demanded money, and fled with private cash.

Approximately 45 minutes later, after 10 pm, about 4.5 miles from the first robbery, two armed men detained a business employee on Garnet Avenue between Dose and Everst, Battle said. Said. The man demanded cash and made money in private amounts.

Battle also said he was unaware of the name and type of business that took place at Pacific Beach, but said the robbery was in line with the same general description of a man who did business in the Midway area.
