Iconic MLB announcer Vin Scully’s mansion goes for sale in California

A beautiful French chateau owned by iconic Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully has popped off the real estate market in Hidden Hills, California for less than the asking price.

7 Bedroom 9 Bath Estate — which spans over 11,600 square feet — went public in October for $15 million and sold for $14 million, McClatchy News first reported.

House, nickname home platewas acquired by the baseball legend for $12.4 million in 2009, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“Our home was filled with many beautiful memories, love and laughter, but as my father used to say, everything in life has seasons and seasons,” says Vinh’s daughter. Listing agent Kat Scully said in a news release that the property has been listed.

“This was his wish. I prayed that a big chapter in our family’s story would come to an end and that our family’s proverbial torch would be passed on to the next family to continue creating beautiful memories.”
