The epidemic has shown how much connection is needed in everyday life. Now that Canyons College is back to individual events at the university, the college has taken the opportunity to deliberately make some connections.

More than $ 196,000 in scholarships have been provided by the COC this year. Some of these scholarships are funded by corporations, but many are funded by individuals in the community.

On May 25, about 150 people came to Dr. Diana G. One-stop shop at Van Hook University Center. Scholars և their families came to meet individuals who had personally invested in them, and scholarship donors came to hear the stories of the students they supported. The “Thank You” choir was repeated over and over again.

The audience listened to Dr. Van Hook talk about how each person in the room is a unique superhero. Everyone listened to 2022/23 ASG President Colin Schneur describe how Canyons College helped him find a career path that was deeply personal to him.

When the reception was over, thanks were still heard in the room. There were tears of gratitude և for many hugs.
