SCVNews.com | April 30: SCV Education Foundation to Host Virtual Teacher Tribute

The Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation will hold the 37th Annual Teacher Tribute on Friday, April 30th to honor the Teacher of the Year in 2020/2021.

The community is invited to celebrate at this virtual event, which introduces this year’s theme, MASK-ERADE.

“The theme of the event was chosen because there are people behind every mask and a story behind everyone. After wearing masks and teaching in a virtual world, these excellent teachers I felt the need to emphasize his face and story, “says Jackie Hartman, Executive Director. “I can’t wait to share their story. They deserve more recognition than ever before.”

Teacher Tribute will be a hybrid event. Winners will be offered a socially distant red carpet experience before the virtual ceremony.

Anyone who shares a family can join, walk on the red carpet, take a photo at “Paparatch”, and swag with Marston’s catering meals and wine, desserts, personal awards, printed programs, tote bags and more. You can receive the bag.

The virtual ceremony will premiere at 6 pm. SCVEF Facebook page, SCVTV Facebook page To SCVEF And SCVTV website, Local cable channels Spectrum 20 and AT & T 99, and SCVTV Apple TV And Roku app.. Winners can invite family and friends from anywhere in the world to attend a virtual viewing party.

“Last year, one of the winners invited a family from India. What a unique advantage it was to hold an event in effect,” Hartman said.

There is no cost for guests to attend the celebration. The SCV Education Foundation’s Premier Partners are funding the cost of compliments.

“Our year-round education partners make such a difference in our organization,” Hartman said. “We thank JSB Development, California Credit Union, Harley-Davidson of Santa Clarita, Pocock Brewing Company, FivePoint, Foster Construction, Claremont Homes and SoCaGas for their continued support of Santa Clarita’s public schools.”

The SCV Education Foundation is looking for gift basket sponsors and donations of swag bag items. If you are interested in supporting Teacher Tribute, please visit our website at www.scveduactionfoundaiton.org or send a text message “MASKERADE” to 44-321.
