The Santa Clarita Valley Corps Homeless Community Program needs your help. From March to December this year, Salvation Army will conduct various Community Campaigns to support the homeless population of the Santa Clarita Valley.

There are approximately 1,014 students from the homeless population in all school districts.

“Last year we saw a 50-60% increase in the number of homeless people who came to us seeking help.” said Rebecca Berens, Santa Clarita Valley Program Coordinator. “We register eight to 10 new hungry customers a week. These are people who use our services for the first time. ”

Help these vulnerable families and individuals by donating the new or delicately used items listed below to the Salvation Army Santa Clarita Valley Corps. Blankets, sleeping bags, jackets will start on March 7 and will last until March 18. Donations can be made at Salvation Army offices at 22935 Lyon Avenue, March 7, 9, 11, 14, 16 և 18. 9:00 և 14:00:

– Sleeping bags for children and adults

– Blankets – size 50 x 60 ”(throw size)

– Baby jackets – All sizes

– Men և Women և Adult Jackets – Medium to 3x size
