The California Department of Transportation, Caltrans, has announced the complete closure of the 210 Foothill Interstate Highway in the San Fernando Valley for a temporary layout diagram for the paving project. The crew will close the I-210 Foothill Highway between the I-5 Golden State Highway and the SR-118 Simi Valley Highway from 5pm on April 4 until 5pm on April 8 at 5pm.

Residents և Local businesses near the highway may experience noise, vibration և dust associated with construction work.

The closures are as follows.

Complete closure to the west ք east of I-210 State Route 118 և Roxford Street և.

West և East Paxton Street ramp

West-east McLay Street on the ramp

West-east Habard street, on a ramp

West to Polk Street, on a ramp

West to Roxford Street on the ramp

West և east on the Yarnell Street ramp

I-5 East I-210 connector

SR-118 to Western I-210 connector

Drivers will bypass Fathill Boulevard via the I-210 Paxton Street ramp to continue their journey. Drivers on the Newhall Pass are advised to use the SR-118 to I-5.

Some closures may start և end later. All closures allow weather conditions և subject to change. Drivers should expect delays; they are encouraged to check traffic conditions before leaving for their destination.

Work on the I-210 is part of a $ 135.5 million project that will replace all I-210 lanes with a new sidewalk from Wheatland Ave to I-5. This bill is funded by Senate Bill 1, the 2017 Road Renovation and Accountability Act. Upstream structures, traffic junction detectors, a central barrier, and a rail defense system are also being upgraded with this project.
