Today, property manager Savannah Guthrie loves her fans – even the rude.
April 1, 50 years old broadcaster shared a screenshot of his IG comment section to Instagram Stories, highlighting the malicious response of one app user. That comment: “You look so old Savannah what happened to you.”
Guthrie responded by typing “I love my fans” into the screenshot you see here. In another story, he shared his response with a so-called “fan” and wrote, “As if!”
Over it screenshothe added, “Bahahaha.”
Clearly, Savannah Guthrie is ready to laugh at the insult, but this is just one example of vitriol that women often encounter on social media just because they exist in their bodies.
March 31, just the day before Guthrie’s messages, singer Jessie J took to his Instagram stories to warn those who commented on his weight – both online and offline. “Stop commenting on people’s weight. Anyone. Stop. Or tell someone they’re sure to look pregnant. Or look skinny. Anything. Just stop,” he wrote. E! News. “I see it so much on social media and I know it happens in real life.”
Jessie J continued, “Someone literally asked me if I was pregnant.” You look pregnant. ”And they also knew what I was going through last year and told me their thoughts on it and how I should have handled it. So weird and damn brave. “
He concluded, “It’s not cool to just say or comment on anyone’s body. Unless they’re telling you or asking for your opinion, it’s not necessary or helpful. Wild that some people don’t know it. Huh.”
Meanwhile, January Jones recently repel Instagram hate with humor. “Wow, this is what she looks like without makeup. Yep !!!,” someone wrote in a happy video Crazy men the star sings “My Heart Will Go On” as a vocoder.
