San Diego Moms: 5 New Parks to Check Out in San Diego

Are your children over the neighborhood park? Check out these new playgrounds in the area.

Bud Williamson Park at 530 Grapevine Lane, Vista

This North County favorite has become a hit with my kids who love the new playground, equipped with slides, swings (including accessible cots), climbing constructions and a rolling slide. Guests can also expect fitness centers, toilets, shaded seats and a beautiful footpath. This is a wonderful park even on hot days, as you will often have a nice breeze.

4S Ranch Community Park at 16118 4S Ranch Parkway, San Diego

This well-established park was recently renovated with a new rubber floor in the playground. If your child loves sand – you will appreciate the sand, which is contained in a separate area with diggers. There are also covered picnic tables and toilets, making it the perfect place for a fun afternoon.

Hollandia Park at 12 Mission Hills Court, San Marcos

Near the Hollandia Dairy factory is Hollandia Park, which reopened with a beautiful, red playground. The multi-level structure offers climbing, hidden animal images and other interactive spaces for children. Our favorite place in this park is the swings for two riders!

Fairbrook Neighborhood Park at 12442 Rue Fontenay Court, San Diego

Earlier this year, officials celebrated the inauguration of a $ 6 million, 3.4-acre park at Scripps Miramar Ranch. The park has a playground, plenty of open space and a sports square. If you play until late with the children, you will appreciate all the lights that surround the park.

Ildica County Park at 8604 Ildica Street, Spring Valley

This park, which is only one month old, is half an acre of fun! In addition to the covered playground, guests can expect a fitness center, a community garden and plenty of open space. Turn your visit to the park into a plant lesson as the park has 22 native trees, oaks and more.

These are my choices for new playgrounds in San Diego County. What are your favorite new playgrounds? Tell us in the comments.
