Carlos has dreamed of having Kinseanello for years, and his friends in East High make it happen.
“It was very special to see my culture represented in Disney and in the movies,” said Frankie Rodriguez, who plays Carlos. “It was very beautiful.”
“It’s such a celebration of all the different people and cultures of our show,” said Joe Serafini, who plays Seb.
Carlos’ boyfriend Cebu gave him a special performance of Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb” during the party, and Serafini says it was a special moment for LGBTQ + youth.
“The arrangement was very beautiful,” Serafini said. “He understands who he is and what his climb is.”
Meanwhile, Miss Jen is working hard to bring the production of “Beauty and the Beast” together, but finds out that her ex-boyfriend and North High rivals have switched the musical to something very shocking. I did.
“Drama, it will bring drama,” Rodriguez said.
Serafini and Rodriguez are talented cast members such as Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Mark Stocia and Kate Rainders. He says it’s a great time to work with him.
“I learn a lot when I get into work every day, and when I leave work, everyone brings something to the table,” Serafini said. “It’s very humble and the greatest experience I’ve ever had.”
