RoboBurger autonomous kitchen opens for customers in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY – Now you can get a hamburger – made by a robot on a vending machine.

RoboBurger is an artificially smart, autonomous kitchen that incorporates all the processes of a restaurant. It has an area of 12 square feet, is connected to a traditional wall socket, has a refrigerator, an automated baking tray and a cleaning system.

The robot uses a five-step cooking process similar to that used by chefs in fast food restaurants. The robo chef bakes the burger, toasts the bread, distributes spices, assembles the burger and delivers it all in about six minutes. Price per hamburger is $ 6.99.

The company says it uses the “best” ingredients possible, such as grass-fed Angus beef and Wisconsin cheddar.

The first RoboBurger is in operation in a New Jersey mall. It will also soon be heading to airports, malls, colleges, offices, factories and military bases across the country.
