Restaurant Week in San Diego returns on April 3 for eight days of gastronomic exploration at nearly 100 restaurants across the area.

“San Diego’s top chefs will prepare various menus with special prices in more than thirty neighborhoods across the county,” according to Association of Restaurants of Californiawhich is a sponsor of the popular event.

Participating restaurants offer two-course meals for $ 10, $ 15, $ 20 or $ 25 and three-course dinners for $ 20, $ 30, $ 40, $ 50 or $ 60, depending on the price of the venue.

This year, almost 20 restaurants also offer special brunch menus on Sunday 3 April and Sunday 10 April.

Organizers say this “foodie highlight of the year” will highlight “emerging culinary talents” in San Diego’s thriving food culture.

The Restaurant Week Website allows customers to search for participating restaurants by cuisine, neighborhood and type of meal.

Sponsored by the California Restaurant Association, it is the oldest restaurant industry group in America with over a hundred years of experience.
