Los Angeles (KABC)-In response to favorable votes and encouragement from supporters, Congressman Karen Bass said he was “seriously considering” running for the mayor of Los Angeles in 2022.

“I was overwhelmed and humbled by the people who recommended doing this, I think I’m seriously considering it,” Bass said in an interview with KPCC / LAist.

In the group, Buscaino and Foyer are the only ones to announce the mayor’s candidacy in 2022. Ridley-Thomas announced on August 16 that he would not run.

About 27% of Democrats who voted said they would vote for the bus if the elections were held today.
