VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com)– Victorville city officials have announced the upcoming closure of lanes planned for Hesperia Road starting April 6 and lasting until July 8.

City officials said Hesperia Road between Sunset Drive and Coad Road in Victorville will be closed due to planned road reconstruction and improvements needed as part of the Green Tree expansion project.

Traffic in the area will be reduced to one lane in each direction. In addition, shoulder access will not be available and the straps will be narrow.

The traffic lights on Green Tree Boulevard will flash red and stop signs will be placed.

Bypasses will be established and delays are expected. Drivers are strongly encouraged to use alternative routes. Those who have to travel in the area of ​​these closed lanes should set aside extra time for their travels.

Drivers are urged to be extremely careful and respect all posted traffic signs, devices,
and staff.
