Police seek ‘missing at-risk’ Pacific Beach woman last seen in La Mesa

A 32-year-old woman from Pacific Beach disappeared this week under mysterious circumstances, with the result that the San Diego police classified her as “in danger” and asked for the help of the public to find her.

Nicole Marie Paré was due to pick up a family member Monday from San Diego International Airport, but never showed up, according to San Diego police. Other family members went to check on her Pacific Beach home, but neither Paré nor her car were there.

When police first reported Paré’s disappearance on Tuesday, they said her bag was found in La Mesa, but her car, which was found Monday in La Mesa and Lemon Grove, was ignored.

On Wednesday, police said her Audi sedan had been found since then, and recent surveillance footage revealed she was in La Mesa on Monday night. The images, from around 7pm, showed her walking through the 7-Eleven car park on 70th Street and University Avenue.

“There is no evidence that he is a victim of crime,” she said The police department tweeted on Tuesday night. However, the police are considering the possibility of Paré being “ignored in danger” based on the known circumstances “and the fact that she has never been lost in the past”.

Police described Paré as White with blond hair and brown eyes. It is about 5 feet 2 inches and 130 pounds. Surveillance shots from Monday night in La Mesa showed her wearing a light-colored T-shirt, colorful leggings with patterns and white shoes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is kindly requested to call the San Diego Police Department on (619) 531-2000.
