San Diego police were searching for a driver who ran after a pedestrian was hit and seriously injured by a pickup truck in City Heights on Saturday night that did not stop.
The clash was reported around 23:00 on Home Avenue near Euclid Avenue, police said.
A driver in a Toyota Tacoma was heading south to Home when the truck hit a pedestrian on the road, police said.
OnScene TV reported that the injured man was a woman and was thrown several legs when he was hit. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
