Person attacked by suspects during jewelry store robbery at Westfield Topanga mall in Canoga Park

Canoga Park, Los Angeles (KABC)-A group of suspects attempting to rob a jewelry store in Westfield Topanga Mall was attacked on Friday night.

Police cruisers and ambulances were found outside Forever 21 in Canoga Park’s popular shopping complex at 6600 Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

Police said several suspects entered the Ice Brothers jewelery store in the mall at around 5:35 pm and attacked people with pepper spray.

It is unknown if the suspect stole the item from the store. Police said they were not fired during the incident.

The condition of the victim was unknown.

Four or five suspects are involved, and police are still searching for them.
