Pedestrian walking on Interstate 10 Freeway in Fontana dies after being struck by car | News

A male pedestrian who was walking on Interstate 10 in Fontana died after being hit by a car on May 22, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Around 1:41 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was driving a 2013 Chevrolet on Interstate 10 eastward, east of Citrus Avenue, in lane no. 3 at an indefinite speed. At the same time, a male pedestrian was walking in lane no.3 for an unclear reason and was hit by a Chevrolet.

As a result of this accident, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was found dead at the scene.

The cause of this accident is under investigation.

The name of the deceased is being kept pending the notification of the relatives.
