Pedestrian Struck, Injured Crossing Rosecrans Street in Midway Distirct


A 62-year-old man was admitted to hospital on Thursday after being hit by a car trying to cross a road in the Midway District.
San Diego Police Police were called at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at 3850 Rosecrans St. where they found the man lying on the street, said Officer Robert Heims.
Police say a 46-year-old man driving a 2016 Volkswagen sedan heading north on Rosecrans Street was hit by the victim, Reims said.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with multiple fractures, which are not considered life-threatening.
