A man was hospitalized Friday after being hit by a Coaster train in Oceanside.
Deputies responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit by North County Transit District suburban train around 22:45 near the corner of Cassidy and South Meyers streets, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla in an unknown condition. His name was not immediately known.
Deputies from the sheriff’s transit department are investigating the incident.
