Pasadena announces COVID-19 safety protocols for Rose Parade, Rose Bowl

Pasadena, CA (KABC)-The Rose Parade and Rose Bowl games will return to Pasadena in just over two weeks after a year of rest due to an ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

City officials are currently working on new concerns for the 2022 edition, and if you’re planning to buy tickets for a New Year’s Day event, there are a few things you need to know.

Ticket holders for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl games must present proof of vaccination or evidence of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. No vaccination proof is required for those looking along the parade route.

A mask is also required for the event. The same rules apply to float fests after the issued parade.
