Officials release all files related to ‘Rust’ shooting

On Monday, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office in New Mexico released all files related to their ongoing investigation into the “rust” movie shooting. Tens of thousands of files have been handed over to the sister channel KOAT, and what we can report today is a bit of what we got. In another video, a dash camera video shows the assistant responding to the setting “Rust” on October 21, 2021. When the assistant arrives, he enters the church on the set, in which photographer Halyna Hutchins is jinya. She was later taken in an ambulance. Seven minutes later the assistant contacted actor and producer Alec Baldwin. The assistant approached Baldwin and said, “What I understand is that you are in the room when the woman is …” Baldwin interrupted the assistant and said, “I am the gunman, yes.” On the assistant body camera, you can see Baldwin meeting the researchers in the film set in the costume. They take a picture of him and see the blood on his shirt. The researchers also took pictures of the gun, the baseless bullet and what appeared to be a round. Investigators also found a final video on camera inside the church. The photo shows Baldwin drawing a gun from his jacket and pointing it at the camera. Note, the video is not from a shot that killed Hutchins. Other published files include Baldwin’s conversations with researchers. In the interview, Baldwin appears when his gun is fired over a film project. “I pulled out the gun slowly. I turned around, I hit the gun. Bang. It hit the ground. It landed. It went down screaming,” Baldwin said. Investigators questioned Baldwin about the live ammunition in the gun. “I suspect someone put the gun to life. If the bullet was fired from his shoulder, someone loaded it directly into the gun I was holding,” Baldwin said. Later in the interview, Baldwin suggested that investigators should ask armored Hannah Gutierrez-Reed “Rust”, where the circuit came from. “Look at an important question for Hannah did you ever combine live rounds and play rounds in your kit because they were forbidden to do so,” Baldwin said. Gutierrez-Reed denies that there was any round in the gun. She said that if it were to be done directly, it would probably have come from Seth Kenney of PDQ Arm and Prop. Photos released by the sheriff’s department show a direct tour of Kenney’s Albuquerque prop house. “I feel very unwell with this. The bullet pierced the girl’s body. She is in critical condition in hospital right now, and I shot the gun,” Baldwin told investigators. The release of these files comes before any criminal charges are filed. On Monday, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office in New Mexico released all files related to their ongoing investigation into the “rust” movie shooting.

Tens of thousands of files have been handed over to the sister channel KOAT, and what we can report today is a bit of what we got.

In one episode, a dash camera video shows the assistant responding to the “Rust” setting on October 21, 2021.

When the assistant arrived, he entered the local church, in the movie Halyna Hutchins nursing.

She was later taken in an ambulance.

Seven minutes later the assistant contacted actor and producer Alec Baldwin.

The assistant approached Baldwin and said, “My understanding is that you are in a room when the woman is …”

Baldwin interrupted the assistant and said, “I’m holding the gun, yes.”

On the assistant body camera, you can see Baldwin meeting the researchers in the film set in the costume.

She said if there was a round of dance, they probably came from Seth Kenney with PDQ Arm and Prop.

Photographs taken by the sheriff’s department show a direct round of albuquerque’s Kenney home.

“I feel very sick of this. The bullet pierced the girl’s body. She is in critical condition in hospital right now, and I shot the gun,” Baldwin told investigators.

The release of these files comes before any criminal charges are filed.

The sister of the KOAT channel keeps track of the files we have received and breaks what we can.
