Neon Bear Brewery is coming to Pomona.
The brewery is run by many people pricedish Brewery Dale Bros.
It is in that place in the Pomona packaging factory that it was previously occupied by Sanctum Brewing Co., 560 E. Commercial St., Unit 21.
The Neon Bear brewery fits its name.
The walls are adorned with bright and colorful neon paintings and artwork old and not too old (the Neon Art Museum warehouse occupies another area of the Packaging Factory); a giant bear head from a car repair shop observes the brewery from a wall; and there should be plenty of beer.
The brewery is expected to open in late July.
Blaze Pizza opens in Colton
Pizza Blaze has opened its most recent Inland Empire location in Colton.
The fast pizzeria is at 301 N. Pepper Ave., Suite 400.
Hours are 11: 00-22: 00 every day.
Other Inland Empire locations include Riverside, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Eastvale, Temecula, Menifee and Hemet, Cabazon, Palm Springs and Palm Desert.
La Volata takes a break
Pizzas La Volata in the Redlands is temporarily closed.
The pizzeria is just taking summer vacation. It will reopen on Tuesday, July 5th.
La Volata is at 1453 Ford St., Suite 101.
Brick Shack Pizza expands
based in Ontario Pizza with bricks has expanded to Rancho Cucamonga.
His new location is at Haven City Market8443 Haven Ave.
The original location remains at 1201 N. Grove Ave., Ontario.
The Haven City Market is open daily from 11:30 until 21:30.
The vegan event coming up in San Bernardino
IE on vegan Sundays is hosting another event in downtown San Bernardino.
The event is scheduled for noon – 4pm Sunday, July 3, at 478 N. D St.
There will also be a beer tent and music will be provided by Just Us Entertainment.
Upcoming events are scheduled for July 17 and July 31.
The ice cream shop opens
based in Montclair Scoops on tap has opened its first scoop shop.
Unfortunately, it is not in the Inner Empire.
The store is at 491 N. Citrus Ave. downtown Covina.
Scoops on Tap features premium ice cream, some of which are filled with beer or wine.
The Covina store features several flavors, including those made with beer or wine, as well as non-dairy and sugar-free options.
Drinks and cans are also available, along with milkshakes and slushies.
Hours are slightly limited during the gentle opening of the store. Hours for the rest of the week are 4-22: 00 until Friday and 1-22: 00 on Saturday and Sunday.
A small bar is part of the operation, but was not yet ready during one visit last Sunday.
A grand opening is scheduled for July 9th.
Cajun rice is back
Cajun rice is again available at Popeies.
Ana was removed from the menu in early 2021, along with green beans.
The chain recently announced the return, saying: “Our classic dirty rice with bold spices Cajun is back where it belongs – on the menu. Seriously, what were we thinking?”
The legumes remain off the Pope’s menu.
