NeNeLeakes has no words yet.
But nevertheless, she has some way of saying it.
A former Real House Wives cast member in Atlanta used Instagram to pay tribute to Greg Leaks after her husband died of cancer at the age of 66.
Last thursday, the next day Greg died, NeNe shared a romantic video of a couple dancing to Johnny Gill’s “It Would Be You” on social media.
What was uploaded was her first post since his death.
NeNe did not write captions on the footage, except to alternate between heart and broken heart emojis.
In the meantime, shortly after it was released, the comments section was flooded with condolences, and fans and famous friends loved the former Bravo personality, who also appeared on many scripted television shows.
“I am very grateful to know @greggleakes,” writes Phaedra Parks, for example.
“He was wonderfully smart, cheerful, humorous, courageous and compassionate. He is a wonderful husband, father, and friend.
“Death always has some sadness, but his spirit, his words, and his actions are engraved in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him, so those who leave heritage You will never really die.
“Tonight, I hear from Greg, laugh, and find comfort the moment I learn.”
What about NeNe?
“You don’t have to post what is known. You know I love you,” Parks concludes, tagging her peers in the process.
Before Greggs died, Nene talked about his health in a video disseminated on social media on Saturday, telling patrons of the Lineage Lounge in Duluth, Georgia:
“My husband is moving to the other side.”
On September 1, a NeNe spokeswoman issued the following statement:
Today, the Leaks family is in deep pain with a broken heart.
After a long battle with cancer, Greg Leaks died peacefully in his home surrounded by all his children, a very close loved one, and his wife NeNe Leaks.
We pray for the peace and strength of your family during very difficult times and ask you to personally mourn.
NeNe revealed in June that Gregg was fighting cancer again after being given a clean health bill earlier in May 2019.
He was first diagnosed in June 2018, when his wife spoke openly about the challenges of such a medical crisis.
“To be honest, it’s a really difficult time. It’s really difficult, isn’t it?
“I didn’t know that cancer could invade our lives and change that way. It was really hard for me. It really is,” she said Us Weekly about three years ago. I talked to.
“We have good days, Greg has good days, then we have bad days, and as you know, I feel lonely, he feels lonely ….
“I feel like I’ve lost my husband, like the day they told me he had cancer.”
Since Wednesday, Atlanta cast members and other Bravostar former Real House Wives have paid tribute to Greg and sent their love to their families.
“I’m saddened by the death of the wonderful man Greg Leaks,” Andy Cohen tweeted.
“I jokingly called him” Rev. Leak, “but in reality he was a strong voice of reason and a great respect throughout the #RHOA team.
“I send love and power to the whole family of @neneleakes and Leakes.”
“Always a voice of reason,” added Kim Zolsiak Biaman to the Instagram story.
“Send all my love to @neneleakes and your family.”
Nene and Greg share their 22-year-old son, Brent Leaks.
May Greg sleep peacefully.
