For the second week in a row, right-wing Texas sophomore Jessica Mulins was named the Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
“There is a reason this team is in a nine-game winning streak (right now),” Bobcats head coach Ricci Woodard said in a statement. Mullins always gives us a chance to win and, right now, her game is leading the way for us.
Mullins appeared in four of the five Crimson and Gold games last week, all of which the team won. He made four shutout appearances in a 12-0 home win over Incarnate Word on April 20. Native Barber Hill played a full shutout game in Texas’s 2-0 victory over Georgia Southern on Friday.
