A lesbian mother of one has revealed how she became pregnant with sperm from a ‘serial sperm donor’ she met on Tik Tok – and says she now wants more of his children.
Angela Turrey, 35, out Californiafirst met her girlfriend through an online dating site and began their romance in July 2015.
After a year together, they talked about starting a family – but they were not sure which route to follow and first tried intrauterine insemination (IUI), a fertility treatment that inserts sperm directly into a woman’s uterus.
She claims that one bottle of the doctor’s sperm, with an unknown donor, cost $ 900 each time, but after 10 attempts they were unlucky.
Despite their nerves, they tried their second option to get pregnant by various means and after one month, they encountered Kyle Gordy on TikTok.

Kyle is known to be the most productive sperm donor in the world, and father more than 47 children around the world at just 30 years old.
Now they’ve got their happy family after giving birth to son Avery 10 months ago – and call Kyle’s work a ‘selfless, friendly’ act.
“It’s great, it’s a selfless act that Kyle was willing to do,” Angela told NeedToKnow.online.
‘[Initially] we were nervous about using someone we did not know well because we were afraid they would want rights over the child.
‘We were also not informed about how the process was done and thought it was really strange to meet someone, just to try to have a child.

‘Use [IUI] started to get very expensive and we thought the money would go in place of the child we want.
‘We decided to use alternative means to start a family instead of a sperm bank and met Kyle through his TikTok.
‘We were nervous to meet and ask someone new [him] to help us start a family.
‘But, after I talked to him and knew why he did this, leaving it in our hands regarding contact with the child, it completely changed our feelings.’
Kyle shared his range of methods, knowledge and tips on how to successfully conceive, where she chose to receive a soft disk that could be inserted.
After meeting with Kyle, and following his advice and tips on how to get pregnant, Angela finally got her son Avery
Baby Avery (seen here on a scan) was finally conceived with sperm from Kyle, after Angela and her partner spent $ 9,000 on failed attempts at artificial insemination

When they checked him on health issues, including STIs, which all came back clear, Kyle ticked every box for them – and they started the process right away.
She said: ‘We met Kyle at his place and he gave us his donation on a soft disk. After handing this over while in my car, my wife inserted the cup into me.
‘We were hoping this would last, but we felt so comfortable [with everything] and knew this could be a chance for pregnancy – it was very exciting.
‘[After finding out I was pregnant] we were in shock, as it took on the first attempt with only one donation.
The couple (pictured shortly after Avery’s birth) were shocked to become pregnant on their first attempt at Kyle’s sperm
Baby Avery, pictured here at one month old, was conceived after his parents spent a lot of time and money on previous attempts to have a baby
‘We actually contacted him at the last minute that month and he explained that he helped someone else the night before.
‘He asked if we were still comfortable [for him to donate] and we’re so glad we said yes. ‘
In July 2021 she gave birth to her son and the two are overwhelmed with happiness at the whole process.
Now they plan to have more children – with Kyle’s sperm her top choice.
Angela added: ‘We plan to use Kyle [again] and have asked him to help us grow our family.
Angela (pictured here with baby Avery) described Kyle’s sperm donation as a ‘selfless act’, saying it was ‘great’
‘Even’: The couple initially thought it was ‘really strange to meet someone, just to try to have a child’, but after going through the process, they had a very good experience
Angela, pictured here with her wife and son Avery, says the couple were initially worried about using someone they did not know well for a sperm donor, in case they then wanted rights over the child
According to Angela, Kyle (pictured) was extremely aware of being a productive sperm donor. However, this has not deterred the couple, and they hope to use his sperm again
‘We’ve talked about starting this in [a few months] if we can make it with our schedules.
‘One of the main reasons we used Kyle was knowing he had helped others start families that showed he could make people pregnant.
‘He was very upfront with how much he donates and this has never put us off because we plan to be open with everything to our son as he gets older.
‘We leave it to him [though] if he wants to reach Kyle or his other ‘brothers’.
“My wife and I are very grateful to people like Kyle because we would not have our son if it were not for him.”
