Monique Munoz death: Teen driver pleads guilty in West Los Angeles Lamborghini crash that killed innocent woman

Los Angeles (KABC)-A 17-year-old Lamborghini driver was charged with a fatal accident in western Los Angeles, and a 32-year-old woman was found guilty on Friday and ankle monitor.

The boy, who has not been publicly identified because he is a minor, has entered his charges in a juvenile court case and is currently awaiting a ruling.

He was charged with the case on April 7, after the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office completed the investigation.

According to police, Hawthorne’s Monique Munoz, 32, was returning home from work shortly after the black Lamborghini SUV crashed into a Lexus sedan after 5 pm on February 17. Her car was totaled.

Firefighters and rescue workers from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene where Munoz was declared dead, police said.

According to police, a 17-year-old Lamborghini driver was hospitalized after the crash. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, he was booked on February 23 for manslaughter.

Investigators say a 17-year-old child was driving at high speed at the time of the collision.
