Mrs. King can be heard saying, ‘In case anyone asks him,’ while filming the hairy burglar.

Ms. King said, ‘As a local Lake Tahoe, these are some of the things we often see. The house is a holiday rental across the street.

The Lake Tahoe area is no stranger to encounters with black bears. They are responsible for more than 150 incident reports in the region, which straddles Northern California and Nevada, including a burglary at a home in the Tahoe Keys neighborhood in February.

And DNA evidence has found that a notorious 500lb black bear, nicknamed Hank the Tank, is in fact at least three fierce bears that have damaged more than 30 properties around Lake Tahoe in recent months. .

One of the Hanks smashed a window and pushed the house onto Catalina Drive while the occupants were home, CBS Sacramento reported.

Hank was caught on security footage from home in Lake Tahoe as he ran in search of his next meal.

Police responded and slammed the outside of the house until Hank went out the back door and disappeared into the woods.

Also known as Jake or Yogi or just Big Guy, the then-solo bear was what one wildlife official described as a ‘bad food ordinary bear’ who ‘lost all fear of people’ and thinks of her as a food source.

Authorities add that the crooked puppy “caused extensive damage to property and forcibly entered several homes – including occupied homes.”
