MoMa stabbing: 2 women stabbed inside Museum of Modern Art in NYC; suspect likely former employee

NEW YORK – Two women, possibly workers, were stabbed inside the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on Saturday, according to police and sources.

The stabbings took place around 4:15 p.m. ET at the iconic Midtown Manhattan Museum.

Both victims were taken to hospital and there is no chance of them dying, officials said.

Police have been searching for the suspect since Saturday afternoon.

Videos on social media show the presence of police forces outside the building on 53rd Street.
