According to Tyson, there is always a possibility that he is confronted with so-called ‘too-excited’ fans, and that it happens enough that his wife, Lakiha Spencer, does not want him to fly on commercial flights.
“I should not agree with public planes,” he continues. ‘My wife’s crazy that I’m taking the public plane.
The self-proclaimed ‘worst man on the planet’ in the 1980s, then made some scenarios when he would step up to safety or fly with some sort of entourage.
‘What will I do on af ***** g plane with my friends and [a bodyguard] he has to look after me? ‘ he asked co-host DJ Whoo Kid and his podcast guests Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.
‘A bodyguard and off ***** g yes man. What am I going to do in a plane? ‘ he added.

Tyson went on to describe incidents like the one on the plane as something that ‘triggers me’. With the advantage of backwards, Tyson admits that doing confrontations with troubled fans is not worth the battle.
When asked if it was a ‘losing situation’, Tyson revealed: ‘Yes. A total of 100 percent. ‘
It San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office decided not to file charges against Tyson “based on the circumstances surrounding the confrontation.”
Those circumstances include ‘the conduct of the victim leading to the incident, the interaction between Mr Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim and Mr Tyson that no prosecution be filed in this case.’
The former boxer’s lawyer followed up by thanking ‘San Mateo District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe, the San Mateo County Sheriff, and all law enforcement agencies involved in this investigation for their careful, diligent and professional work. ‘
Video of the incident shows Tyson killing Townsend before the JetBlue flight from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale was canceled, leaving the Florida man with a bloody forehead.
Townsend initially had a heartfelt exchange with Tyson, according to TMZ. A witness says he and a friend greeted the 55-year-old former boxer when they boarded the plane and even got their picture taken with Tyson.
Tyson soon became tired of dealing with Townsend and asked him to be quiet. As Townsend continued to talk, Tyson reportedly stood up, stood up, turned around and threw several blows at his face and forehead.
‘Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey Mike, come on, stop that,’ heard a witness say on the cell phone images.
Another video of the flight shows the aftermath of the incident, with Townsend sporting traces of blood on his forehead.
“My boy was just beaten by Mike Tyson,” said the man who shot the video. ” Yes, he was heard. Just try to request an autograph. I do not know what happened. ‘
ON THE GO: One day after the incident, Tyson was seen leaving the Eden Rock Hotel, where he was taken in a waiting car. He was scheduled to attend the Benzinga Cannabis Conference in South Florida
“Our client is a big fan of Mike Tyson,” Townsend’s attorney told TMZ. ‘When Mike Tyson got on the plane, he got too excited. At first, her interaction was friendly.
“At one point, Mr. Tyson was clearly upset by an over-indulgence and started hitting him in an excessive manner,” he continued. ‘This situation could have been avoided by simply contacting the stewardess. Our customer denies throwing a bottle of water before being hit by Mr Tyson. ‘
San Francisco police have arrested two people on the April 20 flight, but refused to identify them. They passed the video to San Mateo County police, who have since declined to comment.

The dispute came after a long day of pot-smoking for Tyson, who celebrated the 4/20 pot-themed holiday on Hippie Hill in San Francisco on Wednesday.
Tyson maintained his festive mood on his way out of town, too, as witnessed by Bay Area photographer Josh Edelson, who arrived at the San Francisco airport after a trip to Italy. Edelson approached Tyson about a quarter of an hour before Tyson’s incident on the JetBlue flight.
“When we left the airport, I turned to my wife, like, ” Oh my God, that’s Mike Tyson there, ” Edelson told DailyMail.com.
‘So I went to him and said,’ ‘Mike, do I mind if I get a picture with you?’ ‘And he replied,’ I do not give it, ‘and then he took a big tok from his joint.
‘I went and took a picture with him, and he took another big toke and said’ ‘goodbye’ ‘to his driver, who I assume drove him there from Hippie Hill or wherever he came from. San Francisco, ‘Edelson continued. ‘And that was nice. I actually did not think much about it. Then I went away and went home, and woke up this morning, and so it turns out, he had just arrived to fly home or [Fort Lauderdale.]’
According to Edelson, Tyson appeared to be in a peaceful mood before boarding his red-light flight to Florida.
“He was really chill,” Edelson said. ‘He seemed generally happy. Of course he smoked, was fine and seemed to be in a good mood. ‘
