Midsummer Scream Returns to LB with Tickets Sales Beginning March 5

Midsummer Scream sales begin tomorrow as the event returns to the Long Beach Convention Center July 29-31 after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 5 at 10:00 p.m. midsummerscream.org with a limited time discount of 40%. Gold Bat VIP passes will also be available for purchase while supplies last, but at this time no discounts are offered for VIP passes. Ticket holders for the canceled 2020 event can also exchange their tickets at this year’s Midsummer Scream.

Guests can experience all the fun and scare of Halloween as they face the many terrifying treats offered by the world’s largest Halloween convention and horror.

“As Midsummer Scream returns, we are putting a renewed focus on what made us love Halloween as children and the traditions we continue throughout our lives. That includes the magic of the trick or treat, the celebration of the classic monsters of our childhood, and the preserving the history of our favorite vacation, “said Midsummer Scream co-founder and CEO David Markland.

The Shadow Hall is back for those who are ready to enter the world of horror with this year’s theme “Halloween Comes Home”. The Shadow Hall mazes and exhibits will be performed by more than a dozen professional and domestic lovers, such as the CalHauntS Halloween Enthusiasts group and the Fear Farm, Reichland Asylum, Temecula Terror and Corona Haunt attraction groups.

“The excitement of the return of Hall of Shadows is palpable. The pursuers, the fans, everyone is more than ready for it and these amazing teams are ready to bring it home and create the best Shadow Hall experience so far. Go! ”Said Midsummer Scream co-founder and creative director Rick West.

Midsummer Scream will also present “The Original Monster Kids,” a gathering of relatives of famous pop and horror culture icons Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Jr./Mr. and Vincent Price. The presentation will include pictures and home movies of famous icons as families talk about growing up with their loved ones in the spotlight of pop and horror culture.

The weekend will also include performances by The Winchester Mystery House, Los Angeles Haunted Hayride and “Composers of the Apocalypse” featuring legendary horror genre musicians.

The 2022 event will feature the new exhibition “The Museum of Halloween”. The exhibit will feature vintage collectibles and costumes, as well as original artwork created for Midsummer Scream.

In the showroom, guests can see celebrities from their favorite horror movies, such as James Jude Courtney, who played Micheal Myers in the movies Halloween, Halloween Kills, and the upcoming Halloween Ends. Other featured guests include Jeff Daniel Philips and Daniel Roebuck of The Munsters by Rob Zombie, Eileen Dietz of The Exorcist, content creator Christine McConnell, as well as YouTubers Dead Meat and Grimm Life Collective.

The Midsummer Scream show will also feature more than 350 vendors and artists offering clothing, artwork, masks, toys, decorations and other quirks. Horror fans and creators of enchanted attractions can find merchandise from The Mystic Museum, Tee No Evil, Vamp and Friends, Trick or Treat Studios and many more.

Fans can also participate in the Black Cat Lounge Kitten Adoption Center, Paranormal Pixie’s Pumpkin Patch Children’s Area, and the Screaming Room Film Festival presented by HorrorBuzz.

Midsummer Scream will also offer a program of classes and educational workshops for aspiring enchanted attraction creators developed with Themed Entertainment Organization or USC and UCLA TEA groups.
