Meri Brown: Show Me Some Respect! I’m a Bada$$!

Meri Brown thinks she has a lot in common with Shonda Rhimes.

Let’s say you didn’t expect to see a sentence written, did you?

But the star Sister Wives quotes the creator of Gray Anatomy and Bridgerton over the weekend and used Shonda’s words on his Instagram Store to try to prove it.

Simplified?

Brown wants critics to know he’s not humble.

“I’m not lucky,” the message begins. Do you know who I am? I’m smart, I’m talented, I take advantage of opportunities and I work really, really hard. “

He concluded:

Don’t call me lucky. Call me an idiot.

Sea Brown / rhymes

TLC’s personality felt the need to convey these powerful words just a few weeks after the end of Sister Wives 16.

Viewers spent Sunday nights this winter watching these episodes and saw how drastically the relationship between Mer and her spiritual husband, Kody Brown, had deteriorated.

At one point, Meri finally admitted that the couple were just friends – and that Kody hadn’t given her hope to think this could change.

During the tell-special event of the performance, we will then learn Meri and Kody had not slept together for 10 years.

Since then, fans have wondered why the Sea stays still; why he stays in an emotionally violent relationship.

Many of these same fans have branded Mer weak or pathetic for not leaving a man who has openly stated that he is not in love with him and does not want to be intimate with him.

On several occasions, Brown has tried to defend himself against such allegations.

“A few months ago, I used the word ‘alienated’ in my relationship when talking to a friend. It was the first time I voted for it, and it felt …. honest,” Meri wrote in early February.

“It was hard to use, but still a little liberating. I know where my relationship is, I’m not indifferent to it. I’m always looking for the best in people and situations and I hope they see it too.

“I want to protect people, their feelings, difficult situations.

“I’ve never been, and I’m never going to be, a person sitting and rubbing someone or something in public. So if you start reading this and you think you’re going to get here, you’re going to be disappointed.”

Continued Meri in this previous post, seemingly taken a thumbnail of Sister Wives:

“I’m trying not to cut things, but in recent months, with its‘ certain TV show ’being broadcast, I’ve been stigmatized.

“Viewers have called me desperate, pathetic, embarrassed, told I have no value or value, and many other things that I won’t even mention here.”

The veteran reality star at the time concluded by claiming that he is not desperate, he is simply satisfied and confident today …

In fact, from what you have seen, I am no longer silent. You’ve seen me use my voice to have fun and bring humor to a not-so-perfect situation.

The truth is, I know my worth. I KNOW my values. Who I am, what I want out of life, what I want to be, and what I feel like doing a pretty good job is happy.

I don’t let the things around me that aren’t ‘perfect’ discourage me because my inner peace and joy is more important to me. I surround myself with people who match or exceed my energy.

I have friends, co-workers, co-workers, mentors filling the cup, and I hope to fill them in some way. I participate in positive discussions and situations. I dream when the lid is OFF! I have plans and goals and aspirations that will make me happy and fulfilled.

I work on these dreams every day. I win, I succeed, I win.

And, I’m happy with myself.

For all his claims … despite his many posts and memes he publishes like this … many viewers of Sister Wives simply can’t believe Meri is happy with her life in Flagstaff.

He recently took a road trip and said he had to “think about life”.

Some people hoped this meant he had decided to divorce.

Unfortunately, the reason behind this trip was much simpler and irrelevant.
