Mental health problem or gun control? –

SAN DIEGO (COUSSI) – The Buffalo community in New York continues to mourn the 10 dead and three injured in a mass grocery attack on Saturday.

Authorities have revealed that the 18-year-old white man had targeted the area because it has the highest percentage of blacks of any postal code in upstate New York.

Eleven of the 13 people shot were black and the attack is being investigated as a hate crime.

Another shot was fired Sunday at a church in Laguna Woods in Orange County, killing one person and injuring five others.

Many ask how these mass shootings can be stopped.

Some say it is a matter of gun control, while others believe it is a matter of mental health.

Assembly District 34 MP Tom Lackey teamed up with KUSI’s Ginger Jeffries at “Good Evening San Diego” to discuss his views on whether weight is mental health or gun control.
