Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was scheduled to hold a press conference Wednesday at 5:15 pm on the city’s response to the new coronavirus.
The briefing will take place after the COVID-19 vaccination site has been temporarily closed due to weather-related shipping delays and then reopened throughout the city on Tuesday. Garsetti announced on Sunday that it was scheduled to resume vaccination on Tuesday at all six city-operated sites.
LA’s six vaccination sites include Dodger Stadium, Hansen Dam, San Fernando Park, Lincoln Park, Piers Courage and the Clenshaw Christian Center.
Angelenos, whose reservation was postponed on Friday and Saturday, was said to be prioritized this week to get the vaccine.
