TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has downgraded an evacuation warning due to a fire.
The Marmot Fire started just before 2 a.m. Tuesday southeast of Three Rivers and has grown to 127 acres, according to CAL FIRE. From Thursday morning it is reduced by 75%.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has lifted evacuation warnings for the area of South Fork Drive, including Cinnamon Canyon Drive to the entrance to the national park.
However, the road remains closed near Grouse Valley for fire safety and equipment movement.
