Edison’s teams from Southern California were advised to react in order to repair the damaged pillar. Firefighters informed the dispatcher that they were not able to get close enough to the vehicle due to downed lines.

For the safety of the public, firefighters demanded a firm closure of Mariposa Road. And although the incident has nothing to do with the I-15 highway, traffic in the north is slow as drivers passing by the scene slow down to look at all the flashing lights.

This is an evolving story and additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
