San Francisco (CBS SF) – Until Wednesday morning, strong winds and rain issued marine weather warnings on the coast of Northern California.
On Tuesday evening, the National Weather Service warned against very strong winds affecting coastal waters from Point Reyes to Pigeon Point.
According to the NWS, southwesterly winds of 30-40 knots and gusts of up to 60 knots “created dangerous seas that could overturn or damage ships and reduce visibility, leaving sailors in the harbor. You need to divert, and / or secure your vessel for difficult situations. ”
Warning is valid until 3am on Wednesday
