Charles Manson’s follower, Charles “Tex” Watson, was denied his 18th parole on Friday.

His case was heard by the Parole Commission of the San Diego Prison where he was imprisoned.

Watson, 75, was one of three members of Manson’s “family” convicted of all seven murders in Los Angeles on August 8 and 9, 1969.

He is eligible for another parole hearing five years later.

Watson had been imprisoned in Ione’s Mule Creek State Prison since 1993, but was moved to a San Diego facility after hearing parole in 2016.

The other four Manson followers remain in prison: Patricia Krenwinkel and Leslie Van Horton were convicted of the murder of Tate / LaBianca, while Bruce Davis and Bobby Beausoleil were others that summer. I was convicted of murder.
