Man injured in La Verne shooting – Daily Bulletin

Laburn — A 45-year-old construction worker was shot in his left foot on Wednesday during a confrontation with two men who got into a car in Laburn.

According to Lieutenant Jason Prows of the Laburn Police Department, two men in an old model gray Chevrolet Suburban pulled into the construction site of 2300 blocks on the Arrow Highway near the Pomona border at around 3:30 pm. ..

The man left the suburbs, boarded a car at the scene, and led a group of construction workers to confront them. One of the two men pulled out a gun and fired at the workers when they tried to escape.

The victims of the shooting were taken to the hospital by paramedics.

Both suspects fled the suburban scene moving east on the Arrow Highway, Prows said.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call the Detective Agency of the La Verne Police Station at 909-596-1913.
