Man identified as victim in Sunday’s Norbert car crash

NOVATO, Calif. (KRON) – A man from Pen Grove, Calif., has been identified as the victim of Sunday’s fatal single vehicle crash, the Marin County Sheriff said in a press release on Tuesday.

At 3:27 pm on Sunday, October 23, 40-year-old Marley James Walras was heading north on Novato Highway 101 in his SUV-style car. He was north of the San Antonio Road exit when he lost control of his vehicle. As a result, the car passed over the right shoulder of the highway and rolled over multiple times.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the subject ejected from the SUV and in cardiopulmonary arrest. Assistance was offered to Wallace, but he did not respond. His death was pronounced at the scene.
