Los Angeles considers ending vaccine verification mandate

LOS ANGELES (AP) – The Los Angeles City Council is set to end the requirement for internal and external events to ensure customers are enrolled in COVID -19.

The proposal is being considered Wednesday to make the certification work in restaurants such as restaurants, bars, gyms and personal care facilities.

The measure must be at least 12 votes in order for it to meet a critical threshold and be implemented immediately.

The city council held a first ballot in the polls last week that required a single vote to pass but a 13-1 vote was not enough, so a second ballot would be required. .
