The local gym is giving back this holiday season by donating new customer fees to a local charity.
San Luis Obispo’s McAllister Training donates 100% of new customer revenue in October to the Family Care Network Give Joy campaign. This month, Jim is holding a fitness challenge called McToberfest with the motto “looks good, feels good, and does well”. McAllister Training encourages clients to take random and kind actions, such as buying someone who doesn’t know coffee or leaving a nice note for a mail carrier.
Michael McAllister, owner of McAllister Training, says he knows that giving during the holidays can be very helpful because he can engage with people in need.
“When I was a kid, I had a hard time with this. I didn’t have much money. I was shocked when I was a kid because I didn’t have enough food to put on the table. I hope this helps my family. I know, “said McAllister. “I need this now. The whole community needs it. We are in the fitness business. This year was a big blow. We are who we are. I knew I needed to stay loyal. It was noisy, big, big in my heart, and I had to keep leading in our hearts. I think it can really make an impact. “
McAllister Training has raised more than half of its $ 1,000 goal. Jim wants to continue the partnership.click here Find out more about the Family Care Network Give Joy Campaign.
