Country singer Morgan Wallen apprehended in Nashville following incident involving thrown chair from bar rooftop: documents

Country music sensation Morgan Wallen found himself in legal trouble after he was arrested on felony charges stemming from an incident involving the hurling of a chair from the rooftop of a bar in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

According to official documents related to the arrest, law enforcement officers were stationed in front of Chiefs Bar at approximately 10:53 p.m. on Sunday when they observed a chair being thrown from above, striking the street below.

Reportedly, the chair landed perilously close, merely 3 feet away, from the two officers on duty. Upon investigating the matter with the security personnel at the establishment, it was alleged that 30-year-old Wallen was identified as the individual responsible for the reckless act.

Upon reviewing surveillance footage, authorities concluded that Wallen had indeed tossed an object from the rooftop. Notably, the rooftop where the incident took place is situated six stories above ground level.

Eyewitness accounts further supported the allegations, with individuals stating that they had seen Wallen grab the chair and fling it over himself, followed by laughter.

Subsequently, Wallen was apprehended and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment – two for the officers present and one for the public safety risk posed by his actions. Additionally, he was charged with disorderly conduct.

Official records indicate that Wallen was booked into Metro Jail during the early hours of Monday and was later released after a brief period of detention.

In response to inquiries regarding the arrest, Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the incident, asserting that the singer is fully cooperating with authorities. However, no further details concerning the circumstances surrounding the incident have been disclosed at this time.
