LATECHE Norris’ mother condemned Brian Laundrie’s comparison after the missing couple was found.
After her mother, Cheryl Walker, rushed to San Diego to find her, the 20-year-old turned out to be safe on Friday night.
It is now clear that Ratchet and her boyfriend Joey Smith were homeless and lived in a temporary housing in Chula Vista. This is why they couldn’t call home.
“We were staying at Chula Vista on the side of a highway with no people or resources,” Ratche said.
She added that it was “very difficult” to live in such a situation as they had to figure out how to survive on a daily basis.
Walker was nervous after comparing the case of Ratche with the case of the late Vlogger Gabby Petito.
In a Facebook post that was removed after Lateche was found, Walker wrote:
“And we want everyone to respect our privacy, but he was compared to Brian Laundrie, so we needed to confirm this right away.”
“I have never done any danger or harm to Ratchet,” Smith said. “I always put her first and whatever she wants to do, whatever is best for us as a couple.”
Smith says he came to San Diego to get in Rehabilitation facility Called a restoration ranch, it suffered a seizure and had to leave.
“He had seizures from time to time,” said Lateche, who decided that Smith’s rehab wasn’t right for him and left him on the street.
The couple say they worked hard to get a free phone call from Medi-Cal to get in touch with Ratche’s mother.
“The moment the plan was put into action, we contacted Cheryl,” Smith said.
In this way, the three were able to meet again at the library in downtown San Diego.
“Thanks to everyone who is pleased that this does not end tragedy Because you are important people, “Walker said of the community that helped find Lateche.
“You are heartfelt people, and I really appreciate it.”
Ratche and her boyfriend are planning to return to Indiana. Smith was offered two plans for the construction work and making their relationship work.
“Obviously, we want to get out of it. We want to learn from the mistakes we have made. We want to continue to create and be the person we should be. I think, “says Smith.
