LAPD investigating road rage shooting in Atwater village

Atwater Village, Los Angeles (KABC)-Los Angeles police are investigating a shooting at Atwater Village at the intersection of Dover Street and Edenhurst Avenue in late November.

According to police, this is clearly a road rage case.

The Dashcam video captured the sound claimed by two drivers, one driver shooting the other.

Ricardo Maciel, a resident of the Alhambra, said he was shot and called it horrifying.

“I can’t believe it because I can’t see the gun at this moment,” Maciel said. “At this moment I just heard the sound and my feelings … maybe this guy tries to kill me.”

Police said the suspect also attacked a nearby house.

“This guy almost hit my car, I just opened the window and said,’This time it’s my turn,’ and he said [aimed] “To my face,” said Maciel, “I just saw the bullet in the windshield and just heard the shot, so I checked my body.”

Maciel said it was okay. No injuries have been reported, according to police.

So far, no arrests have been made and there is no explanation of the suspect and his vehicle.
