Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are clearly still in the confrontation phase … observed on the beach with a serious PDA.

Eyewitnesses tell TMZ that the couple stayed at the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. After leaving the pool on Tuesday, their lips locked, they hit the sand for more action … catching the attention of beach guests within sight.

Kourtney was scattered on Travis … his hands pulled his jeans down a bit and sucked on his face like there was no tomorrow! Things got so intense that a close family – with the children – walked over to them, though it’s unclear what was being said, but probably something like “get a room!”

After sanding, they ran down to the sea for more fun … and to cool off.
