The judge also completed the removal of West from Kardashian’s name.
Kardashian appeared on a video conference and was sworn in in a Los Angeles courtroom.
Judge Steve Cochran asked her a series of questions, including “Do you want to be single?”
Kardashian answered “yes” to all.
“It is granted,” Cochran said.
The judge’s move, known as bifurcation, allows a person in the midst of a complicated divorce to become legally free, while custody and custody of the children are settled.
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, did not attend or attend the remote hearing.
She had opposed the move, but Cochran rejected it.
Kardashian, 41, filed for divorce a year ago. Two months later, Ye, 44, submitted his answer, which agreed on all the main points, including the custody of the child. There were no property disputes because there was a prenuptial agreement.
Neither of them talked publicly about the separation until recently, when Ye started attacking Kardashian, her family and her friend Pete Davidson on social media. Among his complaints were that he was not allowed to make important decisions regarding parental care and was barred from birthday parties and other events for their four children.
