KCSO finds over $250,000 in stolen property

BAKERSFIELD, California (KERO) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has reportedly found more than $ 250,000 in stolen property.

On March 8, four scrap cargo containers were stolen from Bakersfield Industrial Street.

On March 9, detectives from the KCSO Rural Crime Investigation Unit found and recovered four stolen containers. They also had the support of the Kern County Auto Theft Taskforce.

Two of the stolen containers were found at a Bear Mountain Boulevard and a 99-road truck station.

The other two stolen trailers were near Merle Haggard Drive and Highway 99.
