Kalaveras opens another Inland Empire location – Daily Bulletin

Mexican restaurant Calaveraswhich has locations in Chino Hills and Riverside, now also has a location in Rancho Cucamonga.

The restaurant is at 10276 Foothill Blvd., a location that has a long history of Mexican restaurants and was most recently Don Chon Fund.

Oldtimers may remember when it was The Whole Enchilada.

Hours are 10am to 10pm Sunday, 11am to 11pm Monday to Thursday, 11am to 11pm Friday and 10am to 11pm Saturday.

The chain is also planning restaurants in Montclair and Corona.

We have a date

We now have a date for the opening Neon Bear Brewery in Pomona.

The brewery is expected to open on Friday, Aug. 5, according to its brewing operations manager Ryan Walton’s Instagram account.

Neon Bear is at the Pomona packing plant in the space formerly occupied by Sanctum Brewing Co., 560 E. Commercial St., Unit 21.

New beer

Hangar 24 Craft Brewing will release the latest beer in its experimental series on Friday, July 29.

Tasting notes for X3-PLSNR are a bit vague, though we do know it has a “clear straw-gold appearance with a snow-white head,” according to a brewery release.

The announcement also says that “the fragrance has subtle cracker or cereal notes with a refreshing hint of summer morning dew.”

And about the scent? It’s “in a category of its own,” the announcement continues.

Maybe you just have to taste it for yourself to find out.

The first beer in the series – X1-PL-ALE – won a gold medal at the US Open Beer Championship.

Also, the brewery is celebrating National Craft Beer Week through Saturday, July 30, by offering $1 off pints and 15% off its membership. Flight Test Program of experimental beer serieswhich gives early access to the series, as well as a slide for each beer, along with other benefits.

Hangar 24 Craft Brewing is at 1710 Sessums Drive, Redlands.

IE on Vegan Sundays is hosting another event in downtown San Bernardino.

The event is set for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at 478 N. D St.
