Jeff Bridges took on the role of father of the bride when he helped his daughter Hayley tie the knot in a romantic marriage California‘s Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara county.

The 72-year-old Against All Odds actor wore a navy blue suit, white shirt and light blue bow as he walked his youngest child through the path in a romantic ceremony in August 2021.

Hayley, who works as an interior designer, and her husband, wealth advisor Justin Shane, chose to celebrate their special day at Kestrel Park in Santa Ynez, California.

The property offers lush outdoor settings, allowing 123 wedding guests to stay safely for only two months after mask restrictions in California were lifted.

The ceremony was originally scheduled for August 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Hayley looked gorgeous in an Anne Barge lace dress with intricate embroidery and a V-neckline. The skirt has an A-line skirt, transparent straps and a low back.

The glowing bride styled her blonde locks in loose curls and completed the vision with a chapel-length veil. ‘My hair was styled in a way that I would do my own hair to other events, so it felt like me,’ explained the glowing bride.

Justin waited for her at the end of the hallway in a classic black tuxedo with a leafy boutonniere.

These images emerged after Bridges nearly died when he landed with COVID in January 2021.

The Big Lebowski star had no resistance because he received chemo for his non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The Hollywood icon added that he did not really have the will to fight the virus because he felt he was ‘dancing with mortality’, he said. Folk.

‘I was pretty close to death. The doctors kept telling me, “Jeff, you have to fight. You’re not fighting.” I was in surrender mode. I was ready to go. I danced with my mortality, ‘said the father.

He was weak from fighting cancer – which he revealed he had in early 2020 – and he was not vaccinated because there was no vaccine yet.

‘I had no defense. That’s what chemo does – it kills you of all your immune system. I had nothing to fight it with, ‘Bridges told the site.

Bridges also said the effects of COVID were much worse than cancer.

“COVID made my cancer look like nothing,” said the Los Angeles resident, who added that he had been in the hospital for five months where he was in intense pain and had oxygen.
