After a man was seriously injured in Irvine, after facing assault, both men and women allegedly had blades were released on bail.
Ashley Bailey, 29, and Seann Williamson, 30, appeared in court this week after being arrested on suspicion of being involved in the assault in Blue Murans.
A 42-year-old man was reportedly seriously injured and taken to the hospital last week after being attacked by Gigha Wynd just before 9 pm on Thursday, July 15, and two arrests were confirmed.
Bailey faced charges of assault for serious injuries when he appeared privately in Kilmarnock state court on Monday. [July 19]..
Williamson, who was co-proclaimed, was charged with assaulting a serious injury and was allegedly carrying a blade or pointed item in a public place.
Both did not enter a plea in the indictment and were committed for further investigation.
They will be released on bail and will return to court at a later date.
A Scottish police spokesperson said: July 15, 2021.
“They were scheduled to appear in Kilmarnock State Court on Monday, July 19, 2021.
“The full report has been forwarded to the prosecutor.”
